Try to find Enderland based cells if you want the best.

Poly Quest, Thunder Power, Neu Energy, and many others use Enderland cells.

I balance charge my Lipos every time I charge.

I would say Max Amps, they have great customer service, great cells(not sure who makes their cells though), and they support RCC.

How ever, I have been running $10 Hextronik Lipos, and haven't had a problem. They can be found at www.HobbyCity.com .

As for balancing, I always balance charge my Lipos.

I run Thunder power. So do most of the li-po guys in our club. No problems. Like dez said, just pay attention to who makes the cells, not the pack. And make sure your balance plug will work with whatever pack you buy, so you don't have to improvise or adapt. Depending on what balancer you get you can balance before, during,or after charging, or all of the above (I mean to the left)

It's Enerland, not Enderland. :-P

And, I agree. Anything using Enerland cells are at the top of my list when looking for new packs.

My vote is also MaxAmps. Not only do they have a good product but they will custom build your pack for your particular aplication. If you already have a charger that has a specific type of batt, or balance connector you can request to have the battery built with those connectors.

I have been using GForce 3S 1300mah 20C packs for a while now and they seem to be of good quality considering that they cost $20 each. http://www.valuehobby.com/product_de...d=8&item_id=25

I always balance charge each time. You will extend the life of the batteries and prevent damage from voltage discrepancies.

I like Kong Power. They have built in circuitry to stop from over discharging and damaging your battery. They are less expensive then some of the other premium brands, however they work just as well.
