| Custom Electronics Plate (PICS)
So I got tired of having to remount all my electronics after a repair, or rebuild. So I decided to make an electronics plate that would house all my electronics, so they could be removed as one unit. So I bribed the machine shop (aka my dad) to make me one. Then we went down to TAP and bought a peice of 3/8" delrin. After a while on the mill we had this. I liked how it came out, but I wanted to get the electronics a little lower so we did some cutouts to fit my esc and reciever. Then we cut some channels for wires, and a space for my CCBEC on the bottom of the plate. After it was all done I had a nice clean mounting surface for my electronics. The project took about 3 hours, but was really worth it. Last edited by Whirlybird; 08-22-2008 at 11:48 AM. |

I didnt have them in when I took the pictures, but it is held in using a small #2 screw on each side through the chassis holes.
