| 4s & mamba max
Does anyone run a 4s pack and a mm in there crawler. I googled it and all I found was 1/8 scale racers adding a bec and fan units. Can I get away without a fan setup? I'm running a 2.2 rig with mm, bec and powering a bm9 |

You probably won't need a fan, but will need to bypass the internal BEC, which it sounds like you've already done. If so, you should be good to go. You may just want to keep an eye on your ESC temp after a few minutes of running, but I think you'll be fine without a fan.

You should be fine without a fan. I have a brushless Revo 3.3 conversion using a mamba max, and initially I did not have a fan on it and it did not get that warm. If you find you need a fan, the Novak GTB fan is very easy to install on these ESC's. |

Thanks I figured I would not be stressing the electrical as much in the crawler, being so low geared and usually not really getting fully on it for more than two seconds. |

I run 4s on a sidewinder with a CCBEC so on the MMAX should not have a problem. |
