Hi there!

I ordered a Novak GOAT-ESC a few Days ago - just the ESC, because I allready own a sensorded BL-motor (LRP Crawler 21.5 Turns). Now I heard the ESC only works with Novak BL-Motors :-( Is that true? Anyone succesfully using a GOAT with another (sensored) motor than the Novak 18,5 or 21,5T?

Any help/comments would be appreciated.

I don't know for sure because I haven't tried myself but if the sensor plug is the same on the LRP as the novaks harness then it should work fine. Let us know how it works.

in the racing world, novak, lrp, hacker, trinity, corally, speedpassion and orion motors are all interchangable with the esc's, as long as you run a sensored motor, and wire it correctly it will work just fine

Thanks for your comments. I did not receive the ESC yet, it seems to be in the mail somewhere.

I've been told that the sensor-connector does not match. It looks the same but seems to be wired differently. I couldn't try myself, though. I hope I don't damage/kill the Novak if I'm going to try if it does work nevertheless. I'll keep you updated as soon as the ESC arrives.
