High torque brushed motor
 

So I'm running a Novak Fifty Five, and all is well, but I wonder, what motors have more torque? I know a higher turn motor will be torquier, but is there a brushed motor that is superior to the others? Is their anything I can do to give it more go (not speed)?

What do you mean by "go" if not more speed? Do you mean more torque?

You already answered your own question. Higher turn motors will have more torque per voltage, but if you want wheelspeed AND torque, you can use higher-voltage battery packs.

I mean torque. How much rpm loss is their on a 70t versus a 55t?

If you want nasty torque then run a 7t of 15t cobalt motor from holmes. A driver in our club actually twists drive shafts with them. It is a pricier motor but has about the highest torque out there, then you can gear up alittle for more speed. Brushless will give you more torque but you will figh start up cog which causes your truck to jump alittle

How's the startup on a 7t? Is it smooth? I love to run my crawler right on the edge, near verticle climbs with the tires hovering the ground, so smooth takeoff is a must!

They are smooth enough to crawl with at low speed. They will go as slow as you wish, as long as your ESC and radio are of quality.

Holmes Cobalt 7t and 10t hands down for a brushed motor. Only drawback is the size. They are a little longer then standard can motors. I cant fit it in my GC-1 chassis :-(.

I got one 2 days ago and I love it!
The 55t is good for the price but if you have the extra money get a 7t.
It's so worth it!

The 7T is hands down the powerhouse motor for crawling. Just make sure you have the battery power to supply it, and some extra batteries to keep it running. Its like comparing a Toyota 4 banger to a supercharged V8. It makes way more power, but uses way more fuel. But its worth it.
