Default HPI TF-4 Transmitter and RC4WD R2 w/Disconnect

Hi friends!

Here i've got a HPI TF-4 3ch Radio with two receivers, one 2ch and one 4ch, each HPI 27MHz, same Crystals - i thought that great stuff i can use for my crawlers. I got one AX10 with stock tranny, brushed etc., so it needs only 2ch, and one AX10 is planned with RC4WD R2 tranny with disconnect i got here waitin' for beeing used.

The 3rd Channel is only a simple Switch, F/R, but the R2 traditionally xD has the three positions 4WD, 2WD, 2WD & Brake.

Is there a way to modify the Radio, or another cheap-trick? How do you guys and girls drive your R2, maybe without brake? Which ways to go are best?

I can use it on my TCS Stick, i know. I'm planning front steering only and rear Disconnect (oldskool Servo hits Switch that disconnects rear Motor, where the lightnings flash...).

But on my AX10 it would be nicer - one Radio, two AX10 in control. No mix of hardware.

So please help! Thanks in advance and have a nice week!

Dennis
