yea we need some pics and video, or somthing, i've been watching this thread forever now he says it works but won't give us nothing, its like teasing a dog with a bone which he has done so many times on this thread, lol. So what type of torque are we talking on these guys, Any better than good hand-wounds or pullers |

I got to do some testing today, just a few snags with the controller that I think is bec related. No vids yet, except what rcc tv caught. I'll yank some phone pics tonight if I get the time. Plenty smooth, gobs of torque, certainly capable of higher torque than a 540 or puller. |

Cool, why would it be too slow for the losi, 16k rpm is faster than the pullers and 540's isn't it

Never mind, i forgot about the per volt on the specs, so you'd be losing close to 5-10k rpm, but i could just gear up since i'm an moa. You mentioned other brushless motors so i may wait, hmmm

nice write up on a vary cool product, been running outboard motors for some time now. Like the bottom end power and the top end speed. never liked the start up stall though. looks like you have finally found the solution vary cool. be nice to finally be able to get one. Vary nice indeed. on another note if you need a test dummy I'll volunteer |

Here are some pics of it. Nothing too fancy, just a sensored outrunner with a few tweaks to make it run smooth. This one is much too slow. I just guessed at how to wind it, and I came up around 500kv best guess. Wye termination didn't help any, but it did keep the timing from being artificially advanced from recirculating currents. As you can see it is a fairly short motor. I have some room to take out length in the faceplate, but not much. I also have room to make it longer and still fit in the space of a 540 |

You like the blue? I was thinking of doing the first run in Red or something, then all black from then on out.

Not yet, that is more of a task for a vendor section thread. It will be less than a standard sensored motor, but a bit more than the Revolver Black.

Blue is alright, but I saw an Integy V10 when I first saw it. Silver, then black? Mamba Pro on 6S? Yes? |

right on, so now it works. So now that you have this project complete whats next. A extremely fast motor but still have the most torque out there or a awesome brushless crawler esc. I want to be the first on the list for these guys but they are too slow for the losi's. I like the idea of red, or even better a temp sensitive can so its blue when its cold and red when its hot, I don't know how possible it it but that would be cool lol. Either way its looking great |

so when you get the motor speed you want. then are these little puppies go to be available to all, how long do you think thanks for keeping it going,I know that you had problems with the censor part of the motor, and to keep it alive and going was cool in the first place thanks for your willing to build a bad ass motor. Now I'm going to have to save the $ to buy a couple of these | |

Your 100k inrunners have me thinking, but would something like this handle 6s? Or is the outrunner design just too much rotating mass and likely to explode showering my car with bits of motor? Glad to see this project finally getting some ground Oh and in orange please. Kieren |

you should make a contest on what color to start out with winner when stickers or a motor and stickers. or just make a pull,
