I am not saying 10 degrees of timing is best. But my set up has no heat except when I run 6s. And it's been flawless for a year now in competition And trailing.

I saw no change in performance the few minutes I ran it it was set on dual mode for tekin that means censored in the beginning of lowes slow then it removes the sensor at full throttle not sure how the settings are with profile 1 2 3 & 4 so I will stay custom one and drop my timing to zero

I never have ran the smart mode, or cheat. It has worked so well on normal sensored I have not felt the need to change it.

Update~ ran it today for 15 mins or so, lots of WOT runs, and some very technical climbing. motor got HOT. it did run better than it had in the past. timing was at +10, ran it in sensored mode. turned the drag brake up to 100%, that part worked great!

I think i still need the smallest pinion I can find. thoughts?

I went back to O* timing and running in Dual mode. 8o Drag, brake strength O* since i realy dont need brake when running Dragbrake.
and all across the board at O%
Doesnt Drag trump all brake settings when using?
Still not understanding throttle minimum option.
So now off to the Rock Pile

I've been running revolver S for over a month and love it. Gearing is 80/20 on 2S with plenty of low end control and speed. Here is a video.

Bashe'd her hard today in a dirt hill. Hard climbing after 15min she was warm as a cup of coffee. But my tranny screws come loose. Lost 2 so... 15/56 32p C1 minimum timing drag at 80%~.25%curent limit. Going up on spurr
60t 32p.

Ok then I see that the 15t pinion is the same size as the 20t 48p. Fixed tranny And trying to get to the pile and hill
To check the bash. Let you know tomorrow. 60/15 32p

I currently have a brushless Trailmaster running 3S lipo and 56/10 gearing in my Wraith. How would the Revolver compare to my current setup as far as crawling/creeping speed?

My Trailmaster has great speed and torque for what I use it for, but wondering if I can get everything the Trailmaster has but with better low speed control with the Revolver?

I think the trail matter your running is about the same as the revolver. I'm running the stubby. My gearing is 60/12 2s still getting to hot for my liking. I want to get the 540 S .
I think my rig is around 7-8 lbs. Going to put my roc back on it. And sell this stubby. And wait for the 540S to Get back in stock.
Any idea when they will be in? Also I think running od front and ud rear may be causing some of the heat. I think your set up Is good if you have no heat. I may try to run 3s and drop gear some to see if it will run more efficient.

Honestly I don't think you are set up right for what you are doing. The kv difference between a revolver and a 3100kv roc412 is substantial. You are going to have to run 4s and gear according To heat. You are not going to get the wheelspeed you are wanting from a 2s without overheating the stubby.

That's so funny that you mentioned the OD/UD gears as I was thinking the same thing with regards to heat. I am running 3s, and have not had a chance to change the sensored mode over to the smart sense or whatever but I am not positive that will "fix" the problem. I still need to find the smallest pinion I can and give that a go-

With smaller motors and heavier weight the od/ud may be a problem, in fact that's why I gave up on brushed altogether. A 9lb rig with od/ud and a 540s is no problem.

How much do you guys weigh? I am at 5lb 10oz using wraith axles, a full steel tuber, 4ws and fr/r winches?

can you spin the wheels with no pinion and the tires just keep singing because everything is free and not binding?

I run od/ud also.

I can attest to the 540 s. I had I rig bound up in the rocks and ripped a shock mount off, broke a t Maxx drive shaft and ripped a revo rod end in half.

Still waiting on an availability update. I don't want to buy a pro4 but I swear I'll do it.
