Thanks for the update boss. If I could pay the premium price for a in-house US built motor right now I would.

infodragon, two of my four workers have been on vacation for the past week. We will be back in full swing by thursday and we will get you taken care of. We do have plenty of parts for warranty service if that is the preferred route.

| Re: Sensored Outrunner motors- Revolver S Depends on what you want it to do. My 5.5 lb LCC (with worm drives sucking up a good portion of the power!) runs just fine on the stubby... ... or at least it did until one front axle ("High Durability" type) got shredded by the brutal torque... Gearing motor:wheel is 56.0:1 front, 66.7:1 rear and the slipper clutch did engage a couple of times. I'll have to be more careful with the throttle in the future. I will have to agree. The stuby tosses my 6lb c3 around like a rag doll. If you are overheating a stuby with a 7lb rig or under . You either have it geared way too tall or you have drivetrain issues. |

Well holy hell, I hope my stubby don't have no alignment issues..... It's just been sitting here until I get time to swap it into my c3 rig. Not sure what I need more of.... Money ....... Or time....... Hell ill take both haha |

Hey John, would there be any issues using corrosion X on the sensor board, in terms of functionality? I'd like to try this motor to save weight, but it's gotta survive dips... Thanks, Ryan |

We conformally coat them here, but you could do a second dip in corrosionX to keep the stator lams and bearings happier underwater.

I think it was my weight of wheels and tires Tranny solid bottom gear. 60/11 No bind issues. I read don't be scared to gear high. That's not too high. My driving style also. Anyway Will wait on the full size. |

I have a Stubby on its way for a RCModelex D-110 build. Really curious to see what this motor is like...

I think the gear high comment was for the revolver s. Not the stuby. Either way sorry if I steered you wrong. I'd don't run heavy trucks or 32p gears. So i am no help in that area. | |

Man I love my revolver 540 full size. Running 60/30 32p and Rc4wd 2speed wraith trans. Rig weighs approx 8lbs. Dang thing is quick yet slow and smooth when I need it. No issues slamming from forward to reverse. I almost want to say I don't need the 2 speed at all. The motor or esc never got hot to the touch. My 1300mah battery lasted about 1hr and 30mins. Couldn't be happier.

I got so many people confused by what a 520 motor was, I changed all brands to be 540S, 540, and 540L sizes.

Would the full size Revolver work well in a Wraith mainly for rocks and trails? What ballpark speed could be obtained on 3s? I know it depends on gearing, just wondering if it would have enough wheels speed to be fun. Thanks.

Mine threw around my MZ U4 rig that weighs about 8.5 lbs on 3S quite beautifully. Geared to 56/16 it was great for bashing and still had tons of torque for crawling. I dont know if it was my fault (likely was as I can destroy a steel ball in a rubber walled room) but I smoked it while running my 2nd batter pack through it. Just went up in a puff of smoke while crawling and in a bit of a bind. When I was bashing the temp didnt get too hot and I thought it was fine, but then crawling with 3S it got in a bit of a bind and before it would overpower the slipper it let out a large cloud of smoke and was roasting hot. It was fun while it lasted for sure! Wes |

Mines going into a MZ U4 rig soon. Mine has been in several binds and I have my slipper super tight. No issues yet on 3s. I'm geared 4:1 and ax2 2 speed. It's fast on high speed.
