| MM Questions
Never owned a Mamba max before. I was thinking of going duel MMs w/ some 45T lathes, 2 cc becs and a couple 8711s. Can you run 4C Lipo on these escs? I notice the specs say up to 3C but im seeing 4C dual setups. Thank You |

As long as You disable the internal bec, mamba max will take 4S.

| No. Check out this thread about external BEC wiring: Definitive wiring diagrams for BECs Rx Servos Motors etc. On my rigs I just remove the red wire going from esc to receiver completely (so the internal bec isn't used at all) and plug everything to the receiver as normal. |

The mamba's internal bec will still operate if unplugged, but with no load on it, it won't cause overheating problems. I'd also advise a fan on the ESC if you intend to run 4 cell. Look over at RC monster, there's a lot of good info about 4 cells on mamba's there.
