Ok, then it sounds like you might have an EPA problem.

Clear the model memory or start a new one is my suggestion. Program on of the DT switches as a 3 position switch like I detail in here and then setup the rear steer with one of the methods I give.

If that doesn't work I will gladly post screen shots of the settings you need. We will get you setup one way or another.

i have punk setup on DT 2 with 100% both ways but it seems that the punk isnt reading ch3. i mixed it with the steering like i was running dual esc's and it worked fine. rear steer is setup on ch4 using either dt3 or dl2.

I have never heard of the problem before with a Punk but just for grins, go to RXSYS and change it to C1. Then turn the radio off and back on. See if that does it.

This might be in here, I've searched but can't find it, anyway is it possible to run a high speed servo and a normal servo at the same time? I'm running a Hitec 5990tg servo for steering and the Axial AS-2 servo for a winch and when I plug both in the RX blinks red then eventually shuts down. Maybe it's something else but that's all I can figure.

I don't know what the issue is Zach. In my RubberBelly scaler I run a 9157 for steering and a 3003 (analog) for the camera, plus a 3Racing winch (equal to an analog servo). I have never had these problems, try switching your radio to C1 mode and in the RXSYS menu and see what happens.

Well, I switched it and no luck, it didn't work at all. I switched back to C2 and still blinking red to green light then eventually shuts down. I plugged in a Hitec 625mg that was laying on the bench and no problems at all. It must be the servo but that sucks because it's a killer winch servo.

Any other ideas?

I had another AS-2 in another crawler set up as a winch that I plugged into the RX and no problems. Must just be a bad servo altogether. Thanks for the help though.

Default short battery life

I just fully charged my new 1700mah stock battery and only got 2hrs and 46 min of total time before my controller died. Is this to be expected or is something wrong? will a 2s lipo work?

Something sounds off for sure. I would estimate I get 8 hours out of mine. Cycle the battery a couple more times and see if maybe you didn't just get a false peak on the charger.

A fully charged 2s lipo is more voltage than this radio is rated for. I have seen a couple custom setups using a volatage regulator. I have also seen people just not fully charge a 2s lipo to keep the voltage down.

It is not just a plug and play though.

The air RX's will not ever be compatible with the 4PK. I am pushing for a RX that is of a similar size but ground compatible.
