Just got my 4pk, and I am setting it up per the instructions, but I was curious what the -100 settings on the FWD and BRK settings do. I read the manual on the pmix settings, but it didn't explain what changing those values do. Can you help me understand why I want those at -100 and what using some other value would do? Also, what does setting the trim on pmix2 do, and why don't we want it set on pmix1?
That PMIX is setup to counteract the throttle input applied to channel 2. The reason we want to do that is so that we can simply power the rear motor only, achieving rear dig.

Thanks,
The reason for that is because when you are actually activating the mix using PS1 it is actually shutting the motor off. When you activate the mix with PS2 it is turning the motor on, so it will indeed seem backwards.

If you go to the first post of this thread I have links to programming of just about any setup you need. I also have video demo's showing the programming. For MOA crawlers there is no better option for ease of use and simplicity of design.

There is a reason it is plastered at the top of every podium

Okay, after sleeping a little and playing with this more this morning, I experimented and learned what the -100 to +100 settings do on the mix menu.

I also decided that I like having ch 3 and ch 4 controlling the two ESC's better than the recommended set up. I couldn't seem to control the front ESC speed with the recommended set up, and the vibrate button was reversed of what it was supposed to indicate. With ch 3 for the front ESC and ch 4 for the rear ESC, I can easily control the mix for each one on DT1 and DT2, which I like better than the dials, and everything else works as expected. This seems like a much better set up to me except, of course, for people that need the 4th ch for something else.

I don't recommend having control over the front mix for two reason. You can overdrive with the rear pmix and it is another setting that you have to center while driving. On course this means lost time. I have not found it needed to overdrive more than the 20% which the rear mix is capable of. This is something that comes from putting tons of hours on my rig. It may seem like something that is nice to have, and you may even use it in practice, but when you are on time and under pressure it is just going to cause problems.
