Ever since switching to the 4pk and a dual esc set-up I have noticed that when I dig on a vertical I get a slight rollback on my rear axle. my setup on my 5.5lb truck: 4pk HH 40t Epic motors Dual FXRs 850 mah 3s 45c lipos I run a "correct" gear mesh front and back. I know that tightening my mesh would probably help some, but is there anything else that I can do? I don't like running a tight gear mesh. This annoying rollback has cost me a few reverse penalties. |

Sounds like it's most likely a motor issue. I don't even run my FXR's at full drag brake because they lock so hard. As a motor wears it will have a less effective drag brake. Might want to hit up JRH and get his oppinion on this. Running a tighter mesh is not a method I ever suggest, seams like B.S. fix to me. Quote:

Sorry didn't see the edit. You need to add the expo in the ESC programming.

I just got my xr10 the other week and got the chasis together. Its gonna be me first electronics build I've ever done on an rc, so I was nervous as could be trying to make sence of everything. This thread has been a life saver, now I know how to wire dual ESCs and program the 4pk. So now I can do it all right the first time |

Hey Harley I am running dual fxr's in my xr-10 with a 4pks. I have the drag brake on the fxr's at 100% but on high traction sufaces it does'nt hold. Are there any adjustments in the 4pks that would help the drag brake?

| There is nothing else your radio can do. Sounds like you need better motors.

| Help to put Punk 3 dig work in 4PK
Hello I have a AXIAL XR-10 with a NOVAK ROOSTER CRAWLER ESC and a PUNK 3 Dig. I only want steer in the front wheels. Can someone tell me how to put the 4PK so that I can use the Dig in the front or rear wheels? I donīt see any button on the 4PK that has 3 positions: 1 position -Activate the front did 2 position -OFF the front dig, so put the rig in 4WD 3 position -Activate rear dig Thank you |

| Brood motors are good, but you need to keep an eye on the condition of the brushes and comm. If they are brand new, more than likely the brushes still need to seat in. If they are old, you probably need to cut the comm. Heavier brush springs help too.
