Default What receivers work with a DX3R?

I just bought a Spektrum DX3R that is in the mail as we speak. I need to buy a second receiver. Just wondering if there is something better than the 3000 that comes with it. Do the receivers from a MRC work with it?

I'm a big fan of the Spektrum Micro's myself...one of the smallest around.

Thanks guys. I need a second one. I'm picking up an HPI Baja and need a second receiver. I may go with the micro for the axial.

This place: The Barn Floor has the cheapest I have found on Spektrum stuff, and they have pretty quick shipping too. When you add it to your cart the real lower price is shown.

Use the 3100 that it comes with for the Baja, DSM2 is more reliable for the gassers. (I haven't had a glitch yet with my baja and dx3r, but I hear others can have issues with the 2 and 3.)

I found that the older SR3000, SR3001, and SR3005 will bind with the DX3r and are 30 to 40 dollars cheaper than the SR3100.
I personally use the SR3001's

I use the 3000's in my crawlers and the 3100's in my fast stuff.
