more can chime in but as far as i know water will kill a brushless motor. so if you want to bash in the mud and water go brushed and pick up an outerwears airfilter sock to put over your motor this should work pretty well at prolonging your motor

Water and mud kills brushed motors, not brushless. Brushless motors are better suited for running threw mud and water, but like they say its not recomended. Just think, the brushed motor gets full of mud, grit, and other crap that eats and destroys the brushes, unless a brushless that has no brushes to ruin.

Okay, we have a delima, :-P

Thanks for the replies, but eh...... I am still at a loss?

I know that mud and water will eventually hurt the motors no matter what they are.

But I was hoping to run a brushless through mud and water, did not want to ruin it though in just a few runs. Will a brushless last as long as a brushed in the water, will it even go in water?

thanks

Brushless is fine/better in water.

brushless is the way to go if you plan on running in water or mud
