I searched but only found them mentioned, no real world experience with them. So who has one? Any issues? $120 of 423 oz/in of torque sounds pretty good...

I've got two of them in both my crawlers. Can you say torque! They work awsome I wouldn't by anything else. I've had one about 4 months with tons of time on it still works great. You made a great purchase! | |

Usually Airtronics, or Sanwa as we have it here, delivers in electronics. All my racing servos from buggies to on roads are Sanwa and still work perfectly.

I am running one on my LCC. The only downfall that I am having is the very short receiver wire. With my receiver mounted on back electronics tray, I had to use a servo extension.

I have one and love it. I am still running the stock plastic servo horn that it came with...not your typical plastic crap. It's pretty tough and i won't bother replacing it untill i break it.

I just got one from a friend and it seems to have a ton of slop in the bearing right at the servo arm. Is normal for this servo? It has more power than the 5595 that I had on the truck before.

Umm NO!! You may have to pull that thing apart and see whats wrong with it. May need a bearing or two.

Being the original poster I figure I should update... Mine currently has stripped gears and the top case is split right down the middle. :-(

I've been using one since they first came out, and I too have a lot of slop at the output shaft. Replacing the front case half did nothing to remove the slop. While it was slop free it was a MONSTER, but with that slop I don't want to use it, so I went back down to a 361 servo. Half the power, none of the slop. Kind of a bummer really. I've been meaning to email Airtronics and see if they had any input on the slop...

10+ Monthes in my Axial, countless binds & tumbles = No slop here. . . Short wires that's the only downer for me.

I ended up putting a small washer between the case and servo arm to get rid of the slop. Power still seems very good.
