Default Anyone running an Airtronics 94780M?

I searched but only found them mentioned, no real world experience with them. So who has one? Any issues? $120 of 423 oz/in of torque sounds pretty good...

I've got two of them in both my crawlers. Can you say torque!
They work awsome I wouldn't by anything else. I've had one about 4 months with tons of time on it still works great.

You made a great purchase!

Usually Airtronics, or Sanwa as we have it here, delivers in electronics. All my racing servos from buggies to on roads are Sanwa and still work perfectly.

I am running one on my LCC. The only downfall that I am having is the very short receiver wire. With my receiver mounted on back electronics tray, I had to use a servo extension.

I have one and love it.

I am still running the stock plastic servo horn that it came with...not your typical plastic crap.

It's pretty tough and i won't bother replacing it untill i break it.

I just got one from a friend and it seems to have a ton of slop in the bearing right at the servo arm. Is normal for this servo? It has more power than the 5595 that I had on the truck before.

Umm NO!! You may have to pull that thing apart and see whats wrong with it. May need a bearing or two.

Being the original poster I figure I should update... Mine currently has stripped gears and the top case is split right down the middle. :-(

How in the hell did you do that?!

You must have had it in one killer of a bind.

I've been using one since they first came out, and I too have a lot of slop at the output shaft. Replacing the front case half did nothing to remove the slop. While it was slop free it was a MONSTER, but with that slop I don't want to use it, so I went back down to a 361 servo. Half the power, none of the slop. Kind of a bummer really. I've been meaning to email Airtronics and see if they had any input on the slop...

10+ Monthes in my Axial, countless binds & tumbles = No slop here. . .
Short wires that's the only downer for me.

I ended up putting a small washer between the case and servo arm to get rid of the slop. Power still seems very good.

What did you do to it? They seem to hold up very well.
