You can but a TQ radio lacks endpoint adjustments so you have to be careful. Either make sure you set up your linkage so that there is no binding or upgrade your radio. The servo will get hot if it binds up due to trying to travel farther than the linkage will allow.

I love my 7955. I run it at 6.8 volts and have had no issues whatsoever.

You can get radios in the 40-50 dollar range used that will have endpoint adjustments.

And before someone posts up a link to the servo stretcher, they don't work with digi servos.

If it was me I would not trust a $100 servo to a $20 radio. Just make sure you don't have binding and that your not hitting the end of the steering throw.
