Default Recommended Servo for AX10

Hey,

I am in the process of building up a AX10 kit and am wondering what a recommended steering servo would be? Would would be the recommended torque and speed for the servo? Also what steering servo's are you running?

Thanks
Shawn

I run a Hitec 7955TG in all my crawlers.

Don't do what many do and buy a metal gear $30 to $40 servo only to break it and end spendiing the money later.

No disrespect to dpsurf, but i have ran the stock wheely king metal gear servo for about 5 months and no problems yet... i will say that it could be stronger but it is useable

Since I have to buy 2 of everything-Mine and my sons-They work ok. If you got the money get the Hitec.

I am running the JR 8711 and love it. 400 + oz of torque and plenty fast enough for a crawler. Had some tower pros. they did ok as long as epas were set they wouldnt burn up. But 2 for 25 bucks ! Had 2 try them.

Hitec 7955TG's or the 8711 JR's either are very good and reliable.

I ran a hitec 645mg for about 8 months with no problems and just switched to a Cirrus PCS704MG from CKRC and it works great it has a high torque rating than the 645mg.

Aren't the 5955's hard to find now since they came out with the 7955?

The JR 8711 is my favorite so far but I would like to try that new Airtronics 400+ oz. servo.
