Default Can I use channel 3 to control two switch?

I have a TQ3 radio. I did the three way switch mod and I am using it for rear steer. Can I use the third channel switch to control two other switches. Can I use say a red third channel switch that will let me operate a blue one for rear steer, or let me turn off the blue and let me switch on a green one to activate dig. My guess is NO but I have read some amazing posts so I'll ask.

if you mean so you can have both dig and rear steer on one truck and still use a 3 channel then no

you need a 4 channel

You can use the 3rd channel two control two devices, such as a winch and a light swiitch like you are thinking. But not rear steer.

The problem is that when you take the signal away from the rear steer the servo will no longer hold it's position. The tires will just push it around.

Thanks that's what I Thought. On a Super should go with rear steer with a y harness and dig or independent rear steer and no dig? In your opinion

Here's my opinion from another thread.

The 4th, 5th, and 6th place finishers at Nationals this year all ran 3 ch radios on their supers. They had independent rear steer and no dig, this is a very good setup for a Clod super. The Clod axles give you some amount of natural dig from the stall.

I almost forgot. The Punk R/C steering computer would allow you to have both independent 4ws and dig (either from dual ESC's or a motor cut-off system).

Just Zach and Pinchy have used it with good results.

EDIT: Corrected my statement.

Just Zach used one on his 2.2 rig that finished 1st at Nationals this year.

Actually I didn't have one on my 2.2 rig, it was my super. It does work well though and I would highly recommend it.

Whoops. My bad. I was trying to think why you would have it on your 2.2.

that looks like a real slick setup! A little pricey, but way cheaper than a new 4ch radio!
