| tq3 ? and 4ch radio recommendation
two things. first-is the tq3 3rd switch okay to use as-is for a winch? I spent a good hour looking through the various threads here about the tq3 (and now know more about rear steer and EPA's than I care to) but not anything definitive on the winch. second-are there any inexpensive 4 channel pistol grip radios? I didnt find any but wondered if I may have missed something. I need steering/throttle/winch/lights. Now, the overall lights will have their own switch on the truck, but I would love a 4th channel/switch on the radio to run a reverse light on the truck. I suspect for the added cost of a 4ch radio it may be not worth it but any feedback would be welcomed. Also if there's another way to do this than a 4ch I'd love to know how. |

Might as well get the dx6i. You wont need another radio after it.

If you can pick up a Multiplex 403 it has 7 channels and will do whatever you want, EPAs on all channels, etc, etc. I have a Multiplex and love it. A Nomadio React would work for you as well as the Futaba 4PK(spendy though) |

No such thing as a en exspencive 4 ch pistol grip unless you are made of money. This one will be nice when it comes out. http://www.rcplanet.com/Traxxas_TQ_2..._p/tra2206.htm |

If your doing reverse lights is there any reason you couldnt wire the leds to the motor so they only light up with the motor is in reverse? I've pondered this, but never tried it out. Maybe if you got fancy with resistors or something.
