I was told that the Rebel 2 put out 5 bec and the SR put out 3 bec which would mean that the Rebel 2 would operate 4WS much better. But I don't know, I don't own either one, I am also looking at needing one soon. I also understand that the SR is getting harder to find and some people have said that it has been discontinued. I think I'm going to try the Rebel 2 myself.

"Better" is probably not the best word because it has more to do with preference. Kinda like Ford vs. Chevy, Associated vs. Losi, and many others.
The SR and the TR2 are very similar in their specifications. The only difference I know of is the TR2 has a higher BEC rating and costs less than the SR. Which one you choose to buy is totally up to you.

He meant amps. SR is a 3 amp BEC, Tekin is a 5 amp BEC. Both are 6 volts.

Well I'm happy my Dad picked me up a super rooster, and I don't think their discontinued and I got a Airtronics MX-3. the reason i did this post is because my radio was not working right so I could not get anything agusted, and the mechanicol speed controller took a dumpon me, so i got more stuff to put on tonight.
