Most are-may be that you're servo's have a diffrent plug then the Hitech reciever accepts. Also make sure you're useing new bats in both radios. You might also need to replace the crystals.

I'm not sure what's up with the JR servos. First of all, I think their servos suck! They don't last long and they are over priced. When I plug my JR servos into some receivers, they freak out too. Not sure what the deal is but for some reason the JR servos have interferance with some radio gear. I do not use JR servos anymore. The radios, on the other hand, are great!!!

I still think the Hitec 645 servos are a great value. You can get the same servo for even cheaper with the Hobbico name on it. XTM's new 175oz servo is probably the best buy on the market but they are impossible to get right now. As for receiver batts, just get the highest mah capacity anyone makes. that's the best you can do. Run stock servos for throttle and brake. High torque servos will just rob the juice and you will not really benefit from them in that location. Just use them for steering!

Yes, the XTM servos are about 205 oz. of torque with 6 volts. Pretty impressive for only $34!!! I just wonder about their life span. I guess for that price, who cares.....as long as they last for more than a few months....they are worth it!

I have some real strong servos 111.oz torque on 6 volts or 103.oz on 4.8 bought them from http://www.servohut.com for $15.00 each. They also have the SO6MG metal gear servo which moves any tire for $20.00! I have not seen better servos for the cost. Take a look at them. You pull, I push, we win!

Servo saver? On a crawler? Not many use them if any at all... The only servo saver I'd use would be the cool Junfac one for Clods... Outside of that, no thanks... I'd rather have the full push/pull of the servo instead of having to get an uber high torque one 'cos the saver mushes out so much... They kinda make it harder to work a rig thru something if they keep mushing out or a bump on a rock can make your wheels go the complete opposite way than you need...
