Battery Packs

I do apologize if there is another thread about this but i can't seem to find it. Let me get on w/ the topic...

What battery pack is the best bang for your buck? I'm looking to bash, crawl with a cr-01, 35t motor, novak xrs esc. I have a superbrain 960 charger that does .5 to 4.5 amps. Where would i get a decent pack w/o burning a hole in my pocket?

Anyways, I was looking at cheapbatterypacks.com(A site i've never used before, so can i get your guys's opinion about it?). I was looking into custom building a pack, a 3300 sc(sc=sub c?) side by side pack.(I have a couple female deans around w/ 12 and 16 guage wires). They're 22.50, are they any good? Will they give me good run time? If so, please sugest which ones.

you have almost the exact same setup as me. Cheapbatterypacks.com from my experiences are very good, fast shipping, low prices, high quality . i have never used the 3300sc but i have used the 1500 2/3a for my crawler and my other vehicles and i must say they work excellent and would highly recommend them

Alright. I'm just looking for some long run times, but wouldn't 3300 would give me more run time than 1500mah?

Edit: i just realized this but the 1500 2/3a is a smaller cell right? Wouldn't i want sub c's for my cr-01. Its not like a 1/18th or anything and i don't plan to mount'm to the axles or anything.

the reason we either run 2/3a packs or lipos is that they are small and light. They work well and give a decent run time. If you want you can run the 3300 sub c's and they will give you very long ru n times. To answer your question yes the 3300's will give you longer run time than the 1500's."thumbsup"

Yea, weight isn't going to be to much of an issue. Its not like im comp crawling or anything, just bashing around, having some fun. Longer run times = more fun for me. Lol. But has anyone had any experience with these cells? I've read off this forum(from a post from chris the battery guy) said that elite were the best cells....Next to gp, ib, and sanyo..right?

the GP 3300 work very well and seem to take more abuse than the IB cells. although i have only used them in 10th scale racing

where do you get the ib and the gp cells from? Compared to the elite cells, are they worth the extra money?
