| Yes, but you will have issues on start up (high amp draw and it will cog like crazy) as well as issues with low speed control. The sensor system off the goat ESC is what makes it work properly. If you have a max get a decent brushed motor and it will be 100 times better than the goat motor and MM. |

| Why are you set with going brushless? IMHO, if you are gonna use the Goat brushless, use the ESC they sell that goes with it. |

| i did this for a few when the sensor plate in my 18.5 went bad. worked fine on the MM. i did notice a very slight bit of cogging, but it really wasnt a big issue. there are better motor choices (a non sensored motor). |

| depending on use, i hear Holmes Motors are very good. just choose the one that suits your needs. im getting my 18.5 repaired. love how smooth the system is, just wish it would do well with a 3S. |
