What's the street price going for? What's the dimensions of the servo? Looks to be a competitor for the airtronics new 8711 servo. The only thing standing inbetween maybe just the price difference.

Ok, I did say in the first post that I would give more information when I was allowed too. As for price, it will be in the same range as the current 7955's. Which of course varies by dealer, anywhere from $94-$120 depending on where you buy it. Release date is still pending. As fo Noise, the 7955 only makes a little buzzing noise when there is strain in the neutral position, un-like the 5955 which beeped constantly. And if the buzzing is louder than 90% of the rest of your chassis, tranny, and axle noise, I am impressed.

same specs as the JR 8711, less expensive, and more water resistant? as much as i love jr radio gear, this definitely sounds like something to look into.

Updated the current info and release date. I can tell you this, from my experience testing the new servo...wow, just wow. If I get the front wheels bound up, the servo will lift the rigs weight and wiggle it free...I think I'll be breaking steering components before this servo breaks a sweat... I think even FishMaxx will be impressed!!

| Subscribed. ...Should be somewhere around 320 oz-in at 4.8v, and ~340 oz-in at 5.1v, I think...? That's obscene. ...This should come out right around when my 5645 will take a shit. Here's hopin. | Sounds very Impressive, I'm running the 7955TG's in my 1/8th scale electric buggy and my Truggy. I also run one in my DNA CFX Comp Crawler. I thought that was a great servo at 333 oz's. I can't wait to try one of these bad boys. Jason |
