Default New to brushless...need clarifiction

Can you run 2 brushless motors on one ESC or does each motor need it's own ESC?

as far as i know each motor needs its own esc

Correct. The ESC "reads" the motor's position as it rotates and will only do one. This is true even with sensorless ESC/motors.
