novaks new brushless combo questions

I hope this is the right section. I'm building a scale basher/mud truck/ crawler and want sealed brushless technology but not the full brushless price and found one of these setups at my lhs for 140.

Is this do able with an slippered axial trans and wheely king axels? Only using a 6 cell stick pack for now.

Any suggestions and/or criticism appreciated. I'll be purchasing this later tonight.

I dropped a Havoc 8.5 system in my slash and run a 7.4v 2c 8,000mAh LiPo in it. I havent had any problems with it yet.
