Seems kinda steep on the price. I picked up a 3ch futaba 2.4GHz tx and rx for $100.00 shipped...I'd do a LOT of research b4 shellin' out that much money, just my $.02

If they were $25, I would get a couple, just for the novelty factor. I wonder if the part they are selling is out of a Losi RTR, like the MRC. It would be cool to have TQ4 that functions with a DX-6 Rx |

Sorry, no experience with that product. But I paid $45 for my DX2 and $60 for my DX3 with shipping included on eBay, I think you could get better for less than $110... Just my opinion... |

While I hardly consider the TQ3 a "crappy radio", I do think that's a bit steep for conversion parts only. Don't get me wrong. 2.4 GHz technology is fantastic. It's great not to have to fool with crystals, and have a pretty much glitch free signal. Like some of the guys have said you can keep an eye on eBay, and possibly win a nice used high end radio. If you're on a tight budget you can do without the 2.4 GHz technology. Hobbyist have been going without it for a long, long time |

I have ran a TQ radio for a total of about 1 hour. I wouldn't pee on it if it was on fire. It would be a nice conversion if it was under $50 though. For $100 you could just buy a nice used radio. |
