Default Hyperion Charger Questions

From searching here, seems this is a popular charger. Any problems yet? I couldn't find any yet.

Is there any difference between the 0606i DC only and AC/DC version? Anyone using the DC version?

I am looking at the DC version to run alongside my old Triton and have a second charger that also balances lipo. Buddy might get the AC/DC version - or possibly the Venom Charger. Couldn't find much on the Venom charger though.

There are no known issues with the 0606i chargers. The difference between the two is the AC/DC or DC only. It's a very good high quality charger.

No memories on the o6o6i's. All Hyperion charger info can be found here:

Love my duo too. They are a great charger. Just set my friend up with one to charge the huge packs on his e-bike.

I will agree It's the only charger I use. You can't beat the DUO. And now the Improved DUO 2 has Discharge as well. It'll be the last charger you'll ever need.

I said that to myself when I got the 0606i Something new will always come out for us "must haves".

The duo is the only charge I ever use anymore too. From the MCX batteries to my huge Ebike packs, it handles all my duty. On the rare occasion I need three chargers going I pull out my old 5i or 0610i.

Yeah I though about what I said and laughed. Some new battery tech will come out and boom we'll need another new charger. LOL I'm the same way I still have my trusty 5i AC/DC unit but mainly use it in the house when testing cells.

Hyperion is updatable though, so if new chemistry come out they will have firmware updates to adjust the algorithms.

Yup that's one thing I like is that they can be updated. And so far the updates have been spot on.

One thing I like is with correct balance tap you can balance most batteries out on the market.
