| help wiring INTEGY 55T lathe motor
Dear List: I need some help with the wiring, there are four (4) big connector that seem to be conected by the bottom plate two by two. there is a small "+" on the cener plastic that sorrounds the motor bearing so one side should be "+" and the other should be "-". So: 1.-What are the other small pins between ech of the the two paired connectors or each polarity side? 2.- Can I connect to any of the two conncetors of each polarity? Maybe it is stupid but I have searched and couldnet find a clear answer. Thanks ed |

the side with the + closest to it is your Positive side for your ESC ..... for normal rotation of the motor connect your ESC positive wire to that terminal. you can use either terminal to connect the wire to .... sometimes its better choice to use the one away from the spring. this way if you bend a tab you dont risk hanging a spring and stalling the motor out. the small pins are usually where the screws go through to hold the endbell in place. on older radios and current non-2.4 radios thats where you solder your capacitors to. this helps eliminate radio noise and possibility of glitches. hope that helps. | |
