I just received my tekin 55t fxr crawler set up, it makes no mention anywhere about soldering 3 caps onto the motor like i have done in the past with novak/55t lathe setups. are they not necessary? or should i be using them? thanks.

What kind of radio system? 2.4 you wont need them. I dont run them on either of my roosters with regular and 2.4. No glitching on either. I would try them without , if it glitches put them on.

I called Tekin for the same reason it does not mention them anywhere in the directions. They told me not to worry about installing them unless you get motor noise or glitching. I did not put them on my motor and haven't had any problems.
