Default castle creations big help!!!

i had a mamba max put on a magic smoke show. when i studied further . i had reverse but no forward. i called castle and Thomas in tech took the time to explain things clearly and precisely. i did not understand the inner workings bot now that i do i wanted to share . in brushed mode, the esc uses 3 fet's for forward and 3 fet's for reverse . well mine burned the 3 forward fet's. in brushless mode it switches between the 6 for forward and reverse. after trying to reprogram, testing output v. and some other trouble shooting we concluded it was dead. i sent it in . and they fixed it under warrentee . castle creations has my buisness for life . great support and no problems at all.(except a dead esc.) so thanks castle.

i posted here because i thought there was some tech value to my rant.

I agree they are really helpful. I sent a motor in a while ago and when I call them, they are really nice and are giving me a brand new one in replacement.
Keep in mind I beat the hell out of it, dented can broken shaft and just shy of being a year old.
They definatley have my business.
