Default 7T Cobalt Puller problems

My crawler, with a Cobalt Puller 7T installed, had an unfortunate encounter with a saltwater tidepool a few weeks ago. (Fortunately, my ESC and RX were OK, but I fried a servo.)

Shortly after the seawater bath, I rinsed the motor off with fresh water, but apparently that wasn't good enough, since one of the bearings is now making a loud howling/whining noise up to about 1/2 throttle. (It quiets down from 1/2-throttle to full speed.) I was not able to post a new thread in the Vendors>Holmes Hobbies forum.

Does anyone know how to get a pair of new bearings for the Cobalt 7T? Local hobby stores don't stock the 4x9x4F bearings used in that motor.

Also, what is the procedure for replacing the brushes? They look like special brushes and they're soldered to the end cap. Do you have to send the motor back to Holmes Hobbies?

Thanks.

I already did that (last week), but I've not yet heard back.

John has a thread in his section just for this type of question.

I think it's called Ask Questions and get Customer support here.

Can a mod please move this topic to the Holmes Hobbies "Ask Questions and get Customer Support here" thread, so I don't need to double-post?

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you on the bearing issue. I have brushes on my site for replacement I know. You just have to solder them on like a typical mod motor. Otherwise it is nothing special.

Working on emails and orders today, I will get a response back to you asap about the bearing. I don't have class tomorrow, so I will be free for lots of work.
