Default Spektrum DX3S buying advice

My LHS told me they can get me a Spektrum DX3S with two RX included for $250.00 should I jump on this offer or are there better deals? Thanks.

I found this and looks like the same deal, two RX included.

Anyone own this TX? thanks.

Thats a GOOD price, at your LHS, or at Horizon... If you can get it at your LHS for that price, Id jump on it there, just to have it in your hands, even if you have to pay sales tax, it would be worth it.

Just found out this is not a good TX for crawlers. If you want to use the 3rd channel for a dig then this TX is the wrong one.

Correct the dx3s is 3 channel 2 position switch and you can't even install a 3 position switch the installed software can't support it , but you can scroll through the trim of the third channel which would be ok for a winch in a non-timed event , but it's way to slow for dig , 4wd , freewheel option.

Dx3r and the older dx3 not dx3.0 just dx3 .
