I have a dumb noob question about 2.4ghz radios that have multiple model memory, in particular the 3PM. I have combed over the manual and don't see the answer to my question. My situation: I have the RX for my AX10 bound to my 3PM and all of the settings saved in the first memory slot. Now, I have four Traxxas RCs, a MRC I am going to build, and looking at getting a Losi 1/10 crawler. I am planning on getting a RX for each one of those RCs and assigning each its own memory slot. The Question: Is each RX bound to each memory slot, so all I have to do is select that RC from memory, turn on the RC and drive; or, is only one RX at a time bound to the radio, and when I switch to a different RC I have to select that RC's memory slot then rebind that RX with the radio? Thanks...

I'm not 100% but i'm pretty sure you would have to rebind for each different reciever. The different model memory only stores the different settings within the transmitter for each model. good question though as I also use the 3pm.

i think, once the RX is installed, bound and setup on its own chnl, its there. so out in the field, you should just be able to change the model on the TX, turn on the car you have for that memmory model and go. thats how my React works. i never tried my 3PM with 2 rxs, but im guessing it ll be all set, once you store it in a new model memory slot.

Timmah is correct. The rx's only need to be bound once.. Then you look at yer 5 cars, decide which you want to run and select that one from memory

Be careful with that as well. Not as big of a deal for us as it is for planes but if you're running your crawler and your radio is still set to your Slash, assuming one of your Traxxas is a Slash, you will get the Slash settings. You must change your radio between models. The way to get around this would be to use the DSM2 system from Spektrum, found in the DX3R, but really, who want's to use Spektrum when you already have the king with Futaba. Viva La Futaba!!
