|  up in smoke last night i turned on rc4wd timberwolf with a novak goat brushless system and esc started smoking and the power wires got really hot and the motor was acting like it wanted to turn. also now when i plug the battery to the esc the lights turn on no matter what position the on off switch is. the whole system has been running great up until last night anyone got any ideas as to what happened. |

| what battery pack? the Goats are rated for 2S (7.4v) lipos, but not 3S (11.1v). considering its only weeks old, Novak has an excellent CS and warrenty repair. I would contact them for warrenty service. But if you used a 3S lipo, you may of burnt it out yourself, and will then be responsible for repairs/service. next i would be checking all your wiring. you may have a bare wire that is shorting on you. |
