11.1v help How do I know if my esc can handle a 11.1v pack vs. a 7.4?? I am looking into a tekin fx-r. I have an lrp a1 I think in it now with no lipo shut off. |

The Tekin FX-R will accomodate a 3S (11.1v) Lipo if you are running a single 35 turn motor or higher. Anything lower than 35T, or dual servos like a dig set up or rear steer, then you'll need to run a BEC as well. |
Your current ESC, the LRP AI can't handle a 3s lipo. You could run a 2s 7.4v lipo, but I don't know if it has a lipo cutoff built-in. I highly recommend the Tekin FX-R "thumbsup" |
Not trying to sound totally stupid but is it as simple as 2 cell is 7.4 and 3 cell is 11.1? If so, I apologize for my stupidity. lol |

It doesnt have lv cutoff but I am using an external one from common sense. I have yet to run one all the way down to cut off for fear of it not working but it is supposed to work. |
