| Sidewinder quit working
I was hoping someone could help me. I have a Sidewinder, CC BEC, Radio-shack micro switches, DX3R, Hitec 5955tg, and Hitec HS55 dig. I have been running this setup flawlessly on a Poly RC 4 cell lipo for about a month. No overheating, no smoke...the truck stopped moving. It wasn't in a bind or anything. Servos still work..lights come on on the Sidewinder. But no power is coming out of the sidewinder.. I checked the voltage going in and out of the ESC...it is good going in but the outpout wires have nothing. I reprogrammed the ESC several times and also checked the settings on the Castle link program. Again, the correct lights come on the ESC when I apply throttle and reverse. This is really irritating because Motorama is this weekend and my truck isn't working. Anyone have any ideas on this? I am thinking something went bad in the ESC.. Thanks |

Try making you dead band bigger on the software. Had mine act like that after narrowing it. Guessing my neutral trim drifted out of spec and would never allow the esc to arm. Quick fix was changing the trim on my throttle, but later opened up the deadband to prevent it in the future.

what software are running... I had to step mine back to 1.16 when I was running 1.17 they would either not arm or just stop working altogether.
