Default tekin hotwire question!

what are the advantages of programing the tekin fxr with a hotwire?

from what i understand with using the hotwire is that you get to completely program your esc, meaning you have more settings to chose from

I hesrd they where coming out with a new program for 3 cell lipo and 35t. The original program was for 2 cell lipo and 55t motor. For better control. Matt

I run 8 cell nimh to a 45t motor Im not much for lipos

I went throgh 2 sets of saddle packs. Now running Lipo's 3cell in my truck and my sons. Hes running a 7t puller and its hard on batteries. Matt

The Hotwire gives lets you fine tune your esc to your driving needs. You can adjust your settings in smaller increments than using the two buttons. It also allows you to update your esc to the latest FREE software that I have found to give me a smoother start up running a 3S lipo and 45t motor. Prior to the latest update my rig would start up alittle faster than I wanted, but now it's super smooth. Also, the update works on all of Tekin's new esc which helped me tune my onroad (RS Pro) esc.

It helps out quite a bit. I have been messing with mine for the last 2 weeks since I got it.I just ordered another FXR for my MRC. I have to say it was worth the extra $$$ to get the best.
