Anyone else have any rear stalling while trying to climb? I was trying to climb some vertical faces, and while the front would climb, the rear would stall and not even turn. It's not a gearing issue.

I'm running a fxr with dual 45t v11 motors.

Worse than normal clod stall? Mine stalls, but I'd say it's the same as when I had dig switches.

Check your gear mesh on the rear, sometimes the motor gets bonked out of place on a rock. Probably be good to check the brushes and springs while you're at it.

I flipped the brushes and straightened out some of the bent parts and it went away Time to pick up some skids.

1 - Plug the Dig Switch Servo Wire into Receiver's Spare Channel (Usually #3)
2 - Wire ESC's Negative Wire to Motors as normal
3 - Solder the Center Dig Switch Contact to the ESC Positive Motor Wire Output
4 - Solder each Outside Contact to the Positive Terminal of each Motor
5 - Trim TX Channel to Center with normal Endpoints

Just one question, isn't channel three the channel you need? Whats radio set-up like? I've read reviews and stuff just haven't gotten my question answered. Thanks, Keith

none really as long as you have end points at +/- 75% it seems to work great...

Yes you need a 3 position 3rd channel for full functionality

Solder it right in. The tabs on the board are designed for it. Hit it with the iron and lay some solder down to "tin" it. Let it cool down a bit while you "tin" the wires. When the wires are tinned, solder it all together. No problems. A nice hot iron with a 3-4mm tip.

One question: Does this switch - during digging - affect the drag brake of an ESC?

I have Sidewinder, and want to know that can it be operated together?

(I've red somewhere that the Castle ESC's are let the motors to "charge" the battery during braking so it is a regenerative drag brake.)

In dig it shorts one motor - the ESC won't "see" it.

The ESC drag brake will apply to the one motor that is still powered.

Hi PunkRC,

Great Man..
You have made nice work on it. I appreciate your work. Now, if i want to buy it, how much i have to pay for it?
Is there any similar switch availabled in the market?
How this one is differ from other?

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and it finally showed up today. I already sold my berg, I lost intrest waiting so long. I have a moa losi with the first generation dig and love it. Punk Rc makes an awesome product.

I noticed on my new switch that there are 3 sets of wires coming out of it, what's up with that?

The extra plugs are for a drag brake function that Robin said he was adding.

I'm not clear on how it works but I think there a thread about it around here somewhere.
