Default How big can I go?

Okay, I have a Novak Goat system (running on 7 2/3A 1500 mah cells) on my crawler and am tired of puny servos, so I'm ready to break down and spend some $ on a big-a$$ high torque job. My questions are:
Since the goat has a high (5 amp?) bec, do I still need to add one with a high (350-400 oz range) torque servo?
One of the servos I looked at recommended replacing the switch harness to my esc because of high amps, is that necessary with the Goat? Are there any other things I need to replace first?
Anything else I need to know before buying one?
Thanks guys!

I would recommend an external BEC for the GOAT when using a higher torque servo. I was running a Futaba Brushless Servo (BLS352) on my GOAT, and it really got that ESC warm/hot. I switched to a BEC, and it definitely is running cooler.

I would get an external BEC. The Futaba S9157 servo is 425 oz/in at 6v and is cheaper then that JR. A great servo!

I'll second that, I love my S9157 and it's a steal at $130.

External BEC is worth every penny.
