Can the rx wire on the SR3100 be cut? I have this rx on my MRC and it's a PIA routing it. The web site says DO NOT cut it but I was thinking they were just covering their ass. If not, what's compairable in size that the can be shortend? Any help will be great!

If you mean the antenna then no not at all. do not cut. it is tuned to that length from the factory. you can just curl it up if its in the way but it has to be there.

Ya I meant the antenna wire sorry for the unclarity. To curl it up and zip tie it wont hurt it? I think it's too close to my power wire and fouling things up when I crawl. | |

You should have any glitching with a 2.4 system. I got my antenna wire zip tied to all of my other wires on my rig and can drive it so far away I can't see it. If you are running more than one servo you might need a BEC.

I'm running a JR9100T with a novak mongoose and the Losi 600mah lipo. After crawling awhile power just shuts down and the red light on my ESC blinks, wait a couple seconds comes back to life all is good. I've been looking at the bec but not sure if it will help I borrowed a friends thunder power 1350, same results. Is the servo sucking too much power from the system?

Yup, it's that thar servo, got one in my Wheely King and it caused a similar problem, I'd be driving along without a problem until I wanted to turn, then when the front wheels turned where I pointed them, the truck would stop moving until I pointed the wheels dead ahead again. I ended up bypassing the BED on my Novak SuperRooster and putting a 1100mAh Rx pack on the truck.

Just loop it up and use a twisty tie to hold it. I do that with all my spektrum antennas and never have any issues.

I want to get an extenal bec most likely the castle but the wiring has me a little scared. Reading other posts on here guys are saying don't power it through the reciever make jumper wire with male ends to the servo come straight off the battery? If i got external should I bump up battery size?
