Default Losi MRC reciever in other Rock Crawlers

I have a Losi MRC and was wondering if I stepped up to a 1/10 ax10 or other 1/10, could I use the same reciever set up out of the MRC in a 1/10 scale rcok crawler. I do not compete just play around locally no digs just throttle and steering. Will it handle the demand of higher torque servos?

It has 3 channels right? You could even run a dig. You can bind a DX3R to it as well.
