Default CC Sidewinder problem?

I just bought a sidewinder, installed it and got it set manualy.

The problem is that sometimes when i steer and try to drive nothing works, I release the steering and the truck moves.

Is this a common problem?

if anyone knows why this happens, please help me

Thanks.

Sounds like you have either a good, strong servo or you dont have the EPA's set on your radio. A CC BEC will stop it from shutting down like that but you still need to make sure your EPA's are set right.

When you use the steering on your truck, your amping out the internal bec of the speed control. This happens a lot with R/C's. About 90% or more crawler guys have these installed. This also puts less strain on the ESC.
