Can the connectors be taken back apart once assembled?

They are pretty hard to assemble and to get them to snap into the housings in the first place. If you were to pop them back out, I would imagine they might not lock back in.

I was able to pull to take them apart and re-assemble them, now I just need to see if they'll stay together.
