Default [Cheap] Propulse/Xmod Ni-MH Batteries - Yay or Nay?

I was at my local Radio Shack yesterday eye-balling their project boxes and eventually came across the Xmod stuff. It was all on clearance, including 7.2v 1200 Ni-MH battery packs for $7.00. For the price I may try one as a back-up for my Losi MRC.

They're a kind of 4-2 saddle pack, but that shouldn't be a problem for me.

Any reason I should stay away?

No personal experience. A couple of guys in our club are running them. Looks like they have good run time.

Yep, in my brushed 18R they run as well as the Associated battery.
