well, understandable i guess! i once drove 75 miles one way to buy an ax10 axle housing the day before a comp. it was a long night! i can agree with you though if the people at hobby shops are either to ignorant, high priced, or condescending i will be hesitant to spend my money there.

Do you know if it will be possible to have an existing 3pm reprogrammed to the new setup? Seems to be the exact same radio, with new program features.

I keep checking tower daily. Do we know of any other online stores that will be getting them as well? I plan on ordering two of these as soon as possible for a friend and myself.

Tower will have them first since Great Planes is the US distributor for Futaba. Everyone else will get them from them.

I have two on pre-order from Tower as well. My buddy is going to go 4 wheel steering on his and I am going to be able to utilize my dig fully. It will be cool to see the different setups. We're just backyard crawlers having fun with these.

No problem guys, I am excited for them to hit the market as well. I have been running the radio quite a bit lately, it's very comfortable. I had never used the 3PM before this radio.

How is the rear steering operated? 3rd channel? or is the 3rd channel not used so that you can set up a DIG or a remote diff lock

3rd channel. If you want a 4th operation you need a 4 channel radio.

I wonder if you can update a regular 3PM with the new 4WS programming/3 pos 3rd channel. The radio looks identical to it's predecessor... I had to drill a hole in my 3PM and mount a 3 pos switch!
