losing power.............
 

i just added weight to my wheels not much but some extra, my rigs weight is at just under 8 pounds and is a tuber....i noticed that when in a bind my motor doesn't have the juice it used to have to get out of the bind....i also noticed my steering servo doesn't have the power either in a bind that it used to either....this happed with 3 different battery packs, but they have been sitting idle for over a week when i used them last....they are 8 cell elite 2/3 1500's nimh and i know they lose some juice when they sit....my other componets are....

sidewinder....
CC bec set at 6.0 volts....
holmes handwound 55t....
hitec 7955 steering servo....
htiec 225 dig servo....

i'm charging my packs up tonight for a GTG tommorrow maybe....i'll know more tommorrow if/when i get home afterwards on this issue..................bob

drop down a tooth or 2 on the pinion gear should help, more weight= more power needed to turn the tires

Top off your packs be fore you go and A few cycles won't hurt them, just listless from not crawling for a week or so ,some of those 1500's had some bad cells so that might be the culprit.
