I thinking of using it in my new Losi Comp Crawler...

Looks good, I see sensor on the ESC, what about the motor, is it sensored?

I have heard the 21.5 works good in the losi, with 3 cell lipo, but Im running 21.5 tekin on 2 cell on the axial and its plenty fast. I think it has something to do with the worm gears on the losi being geared different, but I have yet to see a losi.

its sensored, and yes the worm gears make a world of diffrence! i have both a losi and axial, and the axial is about 3 times as fast with the same motor and pinion.

I have seen on the LCC forum here, that some people think that the 21.5 from will be to slow. Many eigther have something like a 17.5 and 12-14 pinion or a 35 turns and a 14-17 pinion...

Right now I have a Novak 55 turns, with a 21t pinion, and 2 cell lipo.

If I choose the 21.5 shoud I then go up in the pinion, like I have with the Novak 55?
Maybe I should just stik to what others use...:?

I would stick to what others have chosen before. In the rock crawler magazine they seemed to think the 21.5 with 3 cells was a good choice, but I would say a 18.5 would probably be just fine too. I have driven a novak 18.5 setup on 2 cell and my tekin 21.5 setup on 2-3 cells, both are very strong systems. I would say it would depend on what batteries you have, lipo or nimh and how many cells.

What's the behaviour in your opinion of the 21.5T with 2s 25c lipos ?

And with nimh 7 cells ?

thansk

with a 21.5t u should use a 14-16t and when using a 35t u should use 12-14t

in an axial it would be fine but it would be pretty slow in a losi. i have a 21.5t in my losi with a 14t on 3s and i could use a hair more speed but its perfectly fine for me the way it is
