thanks mate. yeah im pretty sure thats where, because thats the main thing the smart stop is doing- monitering the battery's power. has any got one on their crawler or even their mrc?

anybody got a wiring diagram for a smart stop? i just picked one up too, and need help installing it.

sorry not trying to jack your thread but i think a diagram would help everybody who has this same question.

yeah no worries rob, i dont mind, i would like that too, cause im a big fat noob! i dont think it would be too hard to figure out becuase you only have the red and black wires and then the one that goes into the esc, so you carn't really go wrong... any helpers... thanks guys, mitch

Red and Black get connected to the battery leads of the ESC.

The RX plug goes into your throttle channel, and the ESC plugs into the smart stop.

Don't forget to "setup" the smart stop or it won't really work correctly.

cool thats what i thought. but which RX plug are you talking about? where abouts is that plug atm on my mrc?

benoj 08-21-2009 08:24 AM

the plug on the smart stop goes into the rx port for the esc and the esc plug into the smart stop

woops, thanks mate. i probably should've checked there before.... what more can you expect from a noob? the really crap thing is, my computer is being a retard lately with any sort of pdf download, like the this one, and when microsoft word opens it up it interprets it as a page full of utter crap, looks like the matrix, just a page full on useless letters and number!

so i need to fix that up. but in the mean while is there any chance of someone downloading that instruction page and wacking up here for us? thanks for your help mr. EeePee

The TeamNovak website is chock-a-block with instructions and information. I would have posted the link, but thought the instructions were included with the product.
